Current standard policy

About this policy

WorkGrid provides company workspaces for warehouse scheduling, staffing, timekeeping and related workforce administration. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the WorkGrid website or a company workspace.

Information we handle

Depending on the features your company uses, records may include contact and account details, company and warehouse information, schedules, availability, attendance, time punches, leave balances, gross-pay calculations, messages, support requests and uploaded files. Workspace requests collect the contact details you submit. Technical logs may include request information, IP addresses and error details needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide workspaces, authenticate accounts, organize work, calculate configured time and gross-pay records, deliver requested communications, investigate problems and maintain security. Your company chooses the policies and optional features it enables.

Company access and service providers

Your company controls its workforce records and account permissions. Authorized administrators, managers and WorkGrid support staff may access information as needed for their responsibilities. Hosting, email and configured integrations process information needed to provide their services. Do not submit passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents in messages or support tickets.

Location, camera and email options

If your company enables arrival clock-in and you allow browser location access, WorkGrid uses your location while the app is open to check whether you are near the configured warehouse. A paired kiosk can use its camera to read a personal QR badge for time punches. Optional address suggestions use the company's configured mapping provider. Browser permissions and available email preferences can be managed on your device or in workspace settings.

Cookies, storage and security

WorkGrid uses session cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security and interface preferences. Access controls and other safeguards help protect information, but no system can guarantee complete security. Keep your credentials and personal QR badge private and use a trusted device.

Retention and your requests

Records are retained according to company operations, service administration and applicable recordkeeping requirements; some historical or audit records must be preserved. For access, corrections or questions about workforce records, contact your company administrator. For questions about the website or WorkGrid's service handling, use WorkGrid support from your workspace or the website's workspace request form. Available rights depend on applicable law and the records involved.

Policy updates
